Indian systems clearly need reform….no point only blaming individuals who work around the system to survive/grow.

Believers in democracy should ask: Why didn’t 65 years of democracy give us good systems?

In my view, we do not have (enough) democracy. We need participatory democracy to change systems (Proportional representation and massive decentralization of power are powerful examples of positive systemic changes).

The good news is we can get more democracy just by using our existing democratic rights
